THE LION KING Celebrates Second Sold-Out Engagement in Appleton (5/7/2013) - Disney's THE LION KING is celebrating its second sold-out engagement in the Fox Cities, which concluded on Sunday, May 5 at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. The triumphant four-week return grossed over $4.7 million at the ticket office and entertained more than 61,000 patrons during 32 performances. The award-winning musical's six-week Wisconsin premiere engagement in 2007 played a sold-out run at the Fox Cities P.A.C.

Shorewood High School to Stage Unedited SPRING AWAKENING, 5/10-18 (4/29/2013) - Shorewood Drama will present an unedited version of the musical SPRING AWAKENING for six performances only beginning May 10 in the SHS Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 for Students.

Bemis Company Education Series Announces Upcoming Season (4/26/2013) - With characters ranging from Worrying Worm and The Ugly Ducking to Laura Ingalls Wilder and Hamlet, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center 's 2013-14 Bemis Company Education Series will create an exciting platform for learning onstage. The new lineup was announced Thursday, April 25 at the Center's annual Together for the Arts Educator Open House.

SALOON to Open Peninsula Players' 78th Summer Season, 6/11 (4/12/2013) - The 78th season of summer stock theater along the shores of Green Bay opens in Juen when the Peninsula Players raises the curtain on 'Saloon' by Terry Twyman. Summer stock theaters sprang up in the early decades of the 20th century in empty barns, old mills and haylofts across the country. They became venues for movie studio producers to scope out new talent.

THE LION KING Opens Tonight in Appleton (4/11/2013) - The Fox Cities' return of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Thursday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, May 5. The production performed two preview performances on Tuesday, April 9 and Wednesday, April 10.
