Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Presents The Flying Karamazov Brothers, 4/14

The Flying Karamazov Brothers are headed to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 14 for an evening of unexpected entertainment. Known for their juggling skill and impromptu high jinks, The Flying Karamazov Brothers have been entertaining audiences of all ages for almost 40 years.
Tickets for The Flying Karamazov Brothers are on sale now and start at $20. Tickets can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 982-2787 or the Center’s ticket office at (920) 730-3760. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center’s ticket office or online at foxcitiespac.com. Additional fees may apply. “Juggling is dropping,” wrote Paul Magid, The Flying Karamazov’s co-founder, director and producer in a statement.“Each toss is a flirtation with failure, and each time we catch, we deny failure, if only for a little while.”
Magid founded the group with Howard Patterson in 1973 while acting at a Renaissance fair in northern California. Since then, the group has toured nationally and internationally, performed off-Broadway and appeared with people like Frank Sinatra, Dolly Parton, The Grateful Dead, Placido Domingo and more. The Flying Karamazov Brothers have also been seen on “Late Show with David Letterman,” “Good Morning America,” “Ellen” and “Seinfeld.”
Ticket holders have a chance to put The Flying Karamazov Brothers’ juggling talent to the test during “The Gamble” in which the cast selects three items to juggle from the audience. The audience is encouraged to bring a prop that meets the following criteria: 1) Weighs more than an ounce 2) Weighs less than 10 pounds 3) Qualifies as “no bigger than a breadbox” and 4) Is not a live animal.
At the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, The Flying Karamazov Brothers will include Paul Magid, Mark Ettinger, Rod Kimball, Stephen Bent and Andy Sapora.
